Here's a dark, slow burner from Tiña, the pink cowboy hat band from South London. It's off their forthcoming debut album (out Friday 11/6!) on Speedy Wunderground, the dynamite record label's first proper album release.

  Anyone who knows me knows I don't get out much other than to see live music, so the shutdown of venues and diy spaces REALLY threw a wrench into my social life. Thankfully, I did get to a bunch of good gigs before everything went to hell in a handbasket. 2020: 3 Podcasts That Got Me Through

I always shunned podcasts because, if I was gonna listen to anything, it was gonna be music. Frankly I don't really care to listen to people talk for an hour or two. But whether it was a sign of the apocalypse or I was just really bored, it took a pandemic for me to start. Since I don't really watch TV anymore I suppose it's a suitable replacement that doesn't require me to look at anything. Now in 2021 I'm into houseplants. I'm not even sure who I am anymore! Anyways, here are a few music-related podcasts that helped get me through 2020. Barely Human Host Max Easton is a writer and musician from Sydney who plays or played in cool bands BB and the Blips , The Baby , Basic Human , Romance, Dry Finish , and Point Being . 2020: 25 Songs That Got Me Through

  Since time is relative and still pretty meaningless, I trust you won't mind that I'm sharing my favorite songs of 2020 now. Nearly halfway through 2021. 'Cause that's what I do. I take way too long to do these things. It almost makes me wonder why I even bother. Anyways, most of these songs were written and recorded pre-Covid but some touch on very pandemic-related topics like loneliness, isolation and death. And some of the accompanying videos were clearly shot during quarantine, as evidenced by the empty streets in major cities and Zoom-like split-screen that has become a part of everyday life.
